In 1985, Montessori International Children's House (MICH) came to life through the vision and personal sacrifice of a few founding families in Annapolis, Maryland. Today MICH has grown from a two-room schoolhouse into a thriving, well respected and vibrant Montessori school serving 160 children and their families.

The purpose of the Montessori International Children's House is to develop the full potential of each child as an individual and responsible member of our world society.

MICH has programs for children from 18 months through Grade 6. The Maryland State Department of Education and the Association Montessori Internationale USA (AMI-USA) accredit our programs.
